I would really recommend this book to anyone. This, and the help of Uri, are what eventually leads to his survival. A powerful read, and a beautifully performed audiobook, as well. How does it preserve his memories of Poland?

There are many different stories written about the holocaust but never have I read one written through the perspective of a young orphaned around my age. After reading this book, I would hope that young people would even try to treat each other a little bit better.

My students wanted to read about the Holocaust and I think this will provide an interesting mlikweed. Milgrom so reluctant to accept Misha? For Misha, it was “more about talking than about selling”. A moving, funny, lyrical tale with big appeal. I would have given Milkweed 4, maybe even 5 stars if it ends right after the war.
They should have been as smart as Misha who is fictional. Rachel This is one of my favorite novels of all time. This book was real page turner because from the first page, it introduces the main character in the action of running away from a robbery. It wouldn’t hav I love both Maniac Magee and Stargirl, but this book left me cold. What other types of people were targeted for imprisonment in Nazi”death camps”?
